Zackeriah Seal, Son of William and __________? was born in 1754 in Halifax CO. VA. He died before 1828 in Hawkins Co. TN. It is not known who Zackeriah married, but following is a list of his children:

Zacheriah Seals is listed in the 1830 Hawkins County, TN. census: Seals, Zacheriah, 01001-20101.

It is believed that Zackeriah fought in the Revolutionary War, but no proof. He was a Baptist Preacher. He witnessed to different land sales of his father and brothers. He is a taxpayer in 1782-1787 in Pittsylvania Co. VA. Lives house to house with his father William Seal and his brothers Solomon and James Seal. In 1791 Zackeriah moved his family to Randolph Co. NC where his brother Solomon had moved. Three of Zackeriah Seal's sons, Hezekiah, Peter and Solomon, were soldiers in the war of 1812 with England.
