"OWEN II is named in his father's will. By deed Oct. 1, 1781, Owen Sullivan
conveys to Chas. Crenshaw 151 acres 'including the late dwelling house of the
late Owen Sullivan deceased, devised to said Owen Sullivan by Will of Owen Sullivan
deceased (Charlotte Co., Virginia D Bk 3, p. 571). There are records of other
sales from Owen Sullivan to James Mullins, Stephen Farmer, etc. A HISTORY OF
THE SULLIVAN FAMILY was compiled in 1882 and published by William D. Sullivan
in 1913. In it he states Owen & Margaret had 5 children to move from Virginia
to S. Carolina."

6, 2002: Owen Sullivan II (6) (1699-1790) Revolutionary War Veteran, born in
Lunenburg, Virginia 1699, died 1790, married May 1721 Mary Margaret Hewlett (Hulit,
Hughlett, etc.), born 4 March 1707 (daughter of "William Hewlett" (7)
and "Mary Fearne" (7) who was daughter of "John Fearne" (8)
and "Mary Lee" (8)). Owen SULLIVAN II and Mary Margaret HEWLETT were
married in May 1721 in Caroline County, Virginia. 209.
Mary Margaret HEWLETT was
born between 4 Mar 1707 and 1709 in Virginia. She died after 1785
in Charlotte County, Virginia. Children were:
