4. William Clyde "Clyde" COUCH was born on 4 Sep 1892 in Italy, Ellis County, Texas. He died on 27 Dec 1985 in Denton County, Texas. He was buried in Sanger Cemetery, Sanger, Denton County, Texas. From Gene & Nancy Couch: Ran J&J Cafe in downtown Dallas, Tx. for several years around 1930. One of the Js stood for Jefferson Emory Nance and the other was for another Nance. The Nances had afforded him the opportunity to purchase the cafe.

From Nancy Couch: There was also a Louis B Couch that owned Couch Armature Works on Live Oak in Dallas, Tx. in 1921 that was related somehow. William Clyde "Clyde" COUCH and Jesse Juel "Juel" NANCE appeared in the census in 1920 in Cooke County, Texas. Shows them in Valley View with a little W.C., living next to his parents. They appeared in the census in 1930 in Tarrant County, Texas.

5. Jesse Juel "Juel" NANCE was born on 9 Apr 1898 in Texas. She died on 6 Dec 1993 in Tarrant County, Texas. She was buried in Sanger Cemetery, Sanger, Denton County, Texas. Children were:

	i.	William Clyde "Dub" COUCH Jr was born on 29 Sep 1918 in Sanger, Denton County, Texas.1 He appeared in the census in 1920 in Cooke County, Texas. He appeared in the census in 1930 in Tarrant County, Texas. He died while serving in WWII when his plane was shot down on 14 Sep 1943 in Salerono, Italy.1 He was buried on 19 Aug 1948 in Laurel Land Cemetery, Dallas, Dallas County, Texas.1 BIOGRAPHY: Married in Wichita Falls or nearby county in 1940/41.
