He was buried in Mt Tabor Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Union County, South Carolina. BIOGRAPHY: From the tree of Trudy Myrland <ablaze@eoni.com>: Left over 200 acres of land to his children and the children sold this land to William T. Cudd, Jordan Bailey's son-in-law. Transactions on the land took place between 1879 and 1883. Jordan BAILEY and Jane LACKEY were married in 1821 in Union County, South Carolina.

87. Jane LACKEY was born in 1799 in Mecklenburg, North Carolinia. She died on 2 Jun 1878 in Union County, South Carolina. She was buried in Mt Tabor Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Union County, South Carolina. BIOGRAPHY: From the tree of Trudy Myrland <ablaze@eoni.com>: Was a member of the Mt. Tabor Presbyterian Church. William bailey and Eunice Vaughn Bailey are buried in the Mt. Tabor Presbyterian cemetery, Union County, S.C. "Unicy" Bailey'sgrave is marked, but William Bailey's grave is not marked. Eunice Vaughn Bailey was excluded from the Brown's Creek Baaptist church on Sept. 13, 1845, for joining the Mt. Tabor Presbyterian Church.

Jonathan L. BAILEY28 was born on 19 Mar 1835.28 He died on 1 Dec 1906.28 [TrudysFamily.FTW]

Jonathan Bailey was a Confederate soldier in the War Between the States. After the battle at Gettyburg, Penn., Johnathan Bailey rose to the rank of first lieutenant. In the latter part of the war the Confederate ranks were so reduced that Jonathan Bailey's services as an officer were no longer needed. Jonathan bailey then assumed the rank of Private and fought faithfully to the end of the war laying down his gun in Greensboro, North Carolina, several days after General Lee surrendered at Appomatattox, Virginia. Jonathan Bailey's left thumb was struck by a small shot in the battle at Sharpsburg, virginia.
Jonathan Bailey and his wife, Jeanette Adams Bailey, moved from the Mt. Tabor area of Union County, S.C., to the Grindal Shoals area in 1869. Jonathan Bailey built a cabin in the early spring of that year on land that joined the old William Hodge place.
Jonathan Bailey and his wife are buried in the Pacolet Baptist Church cemetery, Pacolet, S.C.

Zachariah Reid BAILEY was born on 18 Jan 1837. He died on 30 Dec 1899. BIOGRAPHY: From the tree of Trudy Myrland <ablaze@eoni.com>: Zachariah Reid Bailey was named for a neighbor of Jordan Bailey whose name was Zachariah Reid. Z.R. Bailey and E. Jane Bariley are buried in the Mt. Tabor Presbyterian Cemetery, Union county, S.C. Zachariah Reid Bailey ws a deacon in the Mt. Tabor Presbyterian Church.

Ellen Bailey Palmer's husband was probably killed in the War between the States. Ellen Bailey Palmer was buried in the Mt. Tabor Presbyterian Cemetery, Union County, S.C.
