DEATH: Georgia M. Davidson, 82, a housewife, died Friday, July 25, 2003, at her residence.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. Vigil: 7 p.m. Tuesday at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. Burial: Boyd Cemetery.
Georgia Marie Davidson was born Feb. 23, 1921, in Louise to Peter and Frances Zaskoda. Georgia worked at Consolidated Aircraft in Fort Worth for two and one-half years before the war ended. She married Charles O. Davidson and mothered 11 children.
The Davidsons called Norman, Ark., home for 31 years. She was instrumental in making All Saints Catholic Parish a reality in Mt. Ida, Ark. After the death of her husband, Georgia came back to Fort Worth to be closer to her family. She was a very active member of St. Paul's Catholic Church in River Oaks.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles O. Davidson; her brothers, Harvel Zaskoda, Valerian Zaskoda and Joseph Zaskoda; and by sisters, Annie Marusik, Amelia Zaskoda, Marcella Shelton and Bernadette Macalik.
Survivors: Sons, John Davidson and wife, Chie of Tokyo, Japan, Charles Davidson Jr. and George Davidson and wife, Charlotte of Hope, Ark., Tommy Davidson of Las Vegas, Nev., Ronnie Davidson and wife, Belinda of Palmer, Alaska and Richard Davidson of Lakeside; daughters, Rita Goumas and husband, Richard of Fort Worth, Dianne Davidson and Betty Davidson, both of Weatherford, Mona Davidson of Springtown and Karen Upton of Mt. Ida, Ark.; brothers, R.C. Zaskoda and Daniel Zaskoda; sisters, Mary Melanson, Regina Hammonds, Lillian Celia and Lucille Quinones; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
