10. Leslie Warner CARLISLE was born on 1 Feb 1884 in Athens, Henderson County, Texas. He served in the military on 12 Sep 1918 in Corsicana, Navarro County, Texas in WWI. (enlistment date) He died on 25 May 1932 in Vernon, Wilbarger County, Texas. Cause of death from Earl Eugene Newsom. He was buried in Vernon, Wilbarger County, Texas. Name possibly Leslie William. Leslie Warner CARLISLE and Emily Evalena CHAPPELL were married about 1906. They appeared in the census in 1930 in Wilbarger County, Texas.

11. Emily Evalena CHAPPELL⁴ was born on 12 Aug 1888 in Fairfield, Freestone County, Texas. She died on 12 Apr 1980 in Vernon, Wilbarger County, Texas. From Earl Eugene Newsom: "Grandma Shepherd pretty much died of old age.
Jack and Hallie moved to Vernon to take care of her from Ft. Worth. Jack went to her
house one day to fix her some lunch and she was on the couch. She spoke to him and
he went into the kitchen. When he came back in the room she was dead." She was buried after 12 Apr 1980 in Vernon, Wilbarger County, Texas. From Earl Newsom: Lived in OK for awhile. Children were:

	i.	William Leslie "Jack" CARLISLE was born on 25 Sep 1907 in Corsicana, Navarro County, Texas. He died on 29 Oct 1990 in Hospital, Wichita Falls, Wichita County, Texas. From Earl E Newsom: Hallie had gone shopping and was involved in a car accident. Upon arrival to the hospital and seeing her lying there with blood all over her and such, he collapsed from a heart attack and died there in the ER. Her injuries were not as bad as they appeared. He was buried on 31 Oct 1990 in Eastview Memorial Park, Vernon, Wilbarger County, Texas.
	ii.	Jimmie CARLISLE was born on 7 Sep 1910. He died on 29 Mar 1925. DEATH: From Earl E Newsom: Killed by a friend at home by accidental gunfire. The friend didn't realize the gun was loaded and shot Jimmie while he was drawing water from the well.
