I always begin to doubt myself when I pass information along. Especially since in a family of 8 or ten one could find the same names given to children three or four times. Our Sarah Elizabeth Sybert was born November 14, 1847, in Morgan County, Ala. She died June 18, 1899, in Morgan County Ala. She married Robert Johnson Thompson on November 17, 1868. The marriage is recorded in the Morgan County marriage book C-1, page 201. She and Robert had at least three children:
Charles R. Thompson b 1872
Sarah Ann Thompson b. 1877
Ida Thompson b. 1879

Sarah Elizabeth was the daughter of Solomon and Elizabeth (Eliza) Sandlin Sybert. Solomon was born 03Jan1825 in South Carolina (according to the family Bible) or Georgia (according to the 1850 and 1860 census) He died 14 May 1904 in Hopewell, MorganCounty, Ala. Elizabeth Sandlin Sybert was born 14 June 1822 in North Carolina and died 04 June 1900 in Hopewell, Ala. They were married December 30, 1846 in Morgan County, Ala. They had a total of eleven children. If you would like therename, etc., let me know. I don't want to try and overwhelm you with a lot of information that you may not need or want.

Keep in touch,

Susan
