William S REEVES⁶ was born between 1760 and 1770 in possibly Rutherford County, North Carolina.¹⁹ He owned (inherited) an interest in land previously from the estate of David Floyd and was signing it over on 22 Oct 1828 in Bedford County, Tennessee.⁴⁹ He died before 23 Jul 1835 in Bedford County, Tennessee.⁵⁰ source: J. 137. Margaret? "Peggy" FLOYD?⁶ was born in 1789 in Cross Keys, Union County, South Carolina. She died in 1840 in Lincoln County, Tennessee. source: J. North

Peggy Newsom: I'm not very comfortable with a marriage between Margaret and William Reeves, but he was entitled to a portion of David Floyd's estate somehow and other researchers more knowledgeable than myself seem to think this is a possibility. Children were:

	i.	Elizabeth REEVES51 was born in 1786 in Pope County, Illinois.19 She died in 1837.
	ii.	Rebecca REEVES51 was born on 6 Dec 1791.19 She died on 15 Feb 1873 in Marshall County, Kentucky.19
	iii.	Reuben REEVES19 was born on 15 Aug 1795 in possibly South Carolina.19 He lived here at the time his father named him an heir in Calloway County, Kentucky in 1835.19 He died between 1850 and 1864 in Marshall or Graves County, Kentucky.19
